One of the reasons for our financial crisis in California is that our state government is too big. We need to take the scissors again and eliminate unnecessary jobs. It may be that it will inconvenience some, but in the long run it will put more money back into the taxpayer's pocket. I have talked with a number of people in my district who tell me they have not received any help from government agencies. When they write to their legislative representative they do not get much response. They have to keep writing or calling before they receive any response at all and most of the time the response does not help. If elected to the state legislature I can promise you that I will personally respond to your concerns, without passing the buck to someone else.
I would appreciate hearing some of the experiences you have had contacting state representatives.
